The thing everyone wants to do online is to get more and more traffic to their site so they can hopefully make more money. The reality is that more visitors to your site does not equal more money. It can in fact ruin you financially. In this article I want to show you why & how to fix it.

Secret #1:

You have to realize that more visitors will not always increase your profit margin. For example – I was getting over 60,000 visitors a month to a site in the martial arts market and was making good money.

I then cut the traffic back to about 8,000 visitors to that site and my profit stayed the same. Why would that happen?

It is because I only focused on the qualified visitors and got rid of the rest. You need to make sure you do this as well. It can be very hard to cut off traffic as you think that their might be a chance they will buy.

The reality is that they probably won’t so you need to get rid of them.

Secret #2:

You might be offering a product that your market does not want to buy. For example, if you’re in a market that people are used to buying things for $300 and you come in and sell a product for $39, you might find that no one will buy it.

The reason your traffic won’t buy it is because they are conditioned to spend $300 in that market and yours sounds to good to be true. So make sure you are targeting your traffic right.
